An unusual Staunton chess set made out pottery with a matt black/white gloss finish and a 4.5 inch King. These pieces are hollowed out, unweighted and un-felted. They would suit a 20 inch chess board.

The pieces are contained within a grey tin box. 

Box dimensions: 20cm x 20cm x 7.5cm



 

Very faint hairline crack to white king, otherwise the set is in good condition. Grade 2 under the Hoyles Vintage Grading System.
