“Girl” card game was published by Pepys Games in 1955, featuring Wendy, Jinx, Belle, Robbie, Penny & Lettice Leefe.

The game was inspired by the weekly comic magazine “Girl” for girls, founded by the Rev. Marcus Morris and published from 1951 to 1964, a sister paper to the “Eagle”. Girl was an "educational" magazine in that the heroines became involved in tales which had a moral basis.

Lovely art, all cards are mint condition but the instructions are missing and the box is in poor condition. Grade 3 under the Hoyle's Vintage Grading System (see here).
