Spinning top stand and set of five - 1970s

A unique set of five spinning tops, each made of a different wood. The tops are numbered 1 to 5: pear, sycamore, cherry, walnut and plum. The stand is made from ebony. With German, French and English descriptions, there is superb patination throughout.

Excellent condition, no chips or scratches. Grade 1 under the Hoyles Vintage Grading System.
