Chop Sticks - 1923

CHF 69.00

Chop Sticks by Parker Brothers is a very fun and rare version of the game taken from China, produced in 1923.

Players sit or stand around the table, setting up one of the pedestals directly in front of them, and arrange the four disks of the same colour as their pedestals, in a row. Place the disks about 10 or 12 inches away from the pedestal and 4 inches from the edge of the table. Then taking the two chopsticks of the same colour, grasp them in their fingers at the extreme end of the sticks to endeavor to pick up the disks, one at a time, with the chop sticks, placing them on top of their respective pedestals. Under no conditions shall the two hands touch one another to steady the chop sticks. All players should start at the same time at a given signal from one of the players. The Player first succeeding in placing their four discs wins the game. Includes rules to make it harder.

This is nearly a complete set, missing only the blue pair of chopsticks, otherwise can be played by three people or four with a replacement set of chopsticks. Great condition overall, Grade 2 under the Hoyles Vintage Grading System (see here).
