This amusing game celebrates the history of pub names and their signs which have ancient tales to tell; many are derived from simple memorable images - Red Lion for example, making their signs easy to find and identify by travellers in search of refreshment and perhaps a bed for the night.
Players try to be first to get rid of all their cards by linking well known pub names to each other, according to simple rules. Red Lion is very similar in style to several well known and popular games, including Crazy Eights, but has its own individual and original twist!
