Defend the City—Meeples Up, Catapults Flying
In Carcassonne: Siege & Defence, the tranquil city is under attack! Invest your meeples in defence posts to protect walls, streets, and abbeys against invading forces. Place tiles with siege symbols, deploy catapults, and contribute to fortress defence. If you slack, you might lose key features. It’s an expansion that adds daring medieval warfare to tile-laying strategy.
Why You’ll Love It
- New Threats, New Roles - Place catapults in neutral positions and respond to siege symbols on tiles that trigger attacks—introducing tension and risk as the city’s fate hangs in the balance.
- Fortress & Defence Posts - Two fortress tiles and multiple defence posts allow players to station meeples to guard against incursions and aim for big rewards.
- More Meeples, More Options - Gain extra meeples to help in defense, so you can invest in protecting the city without sacrificing your own scoring opportunities.
- Tactical Depth in Familiar Terrain - Blends seamlessly with base Carcassonne mechanics while adding new strategic decisions—place tiles, claim features, but also anticipate when to defend vs expand.
