Art Deco playing card case with spade trump - 1930s

A beautifully metal card holder, painted red front and back with a black spade symbol to front. The maker is unknown but based off the clear art deco styling we date this to around the 1930s.

Hinged holder with bar clip to secure deck of cards inside. Clip has a black spade trump symbol on it which when pushed, opens the card holder.

The card holder has a bit of red paint loss on its edges and the bar clip is stiff but it still opens smoothly and has a wonderful James Bond cigarette case feel to it! Grade 1 under the Hoyles Vintage Grading System

Pleas note that the playing cards deck are for demonstration purposes only and are not included. They are available separately here.
