Introducing a pair of Whist Markers from the Late 19th Century, skillfully crafted from a combination of ebony and walnut, featuring exquisite boxwood scoring tongues. These markers are in very good condition, showcasing the fine craftsmanship and attention to detail characteristic of the era.
A whist marker is a device for recording the current score in the game of whist.
Dimensions: 3.5 x 6 x 0.7cm
The base of the ebony marker has split but this may be able to be repaired upon request. Otherwise they have a beautiful aged patina. Grade 1 under the Hoyles Vintage Grading System.
