The Royal Game of Bezique - 1868

Goodall & Sons aptly named their Bezique sets "The Royal Game of Bezique." This original mid-19th century hinged lid box contains a twin deck (7-Ace) and includes a pair of original scorers and the original rules. According to the V&A Museum, these colourful point markers were available from Goodall & Son in 1868.

Full and complete set with original tartan lifting tabs on the box. The rulebook has been tape repaired and the box has seen heavy use. The box is a a Grade 3 and the contents are a Grade 2 under the Hoyles Vintage Grading System.
