Designed for durability, it is secured with a robust steel clasp, replacing traditional brass for longevity. The solid mahogany construction is complemented by refined boxwood stringing, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship with impeccably joined corners.

The chessboard squares and reserve holes are made from intricately dyed and bleached bone, while the playing pieces are exquisitely carved and feature distinct wooden pegs for ease of play.
