Two antique sets of bone gambling counters. 90 of which are marked with '1d' and have be dyed a pleasant bright red, almost orange. The other 20 are marked '3d' and have been dyed purple. They date back to around 1900 and are made of cow bone.
They are no bigger than a 50p coin.
Bone, being a natural material, naturally has flecking, variation in texture, etc. The close up photos show what we mean. This item has been graded as Hoyle's Grade 1, meaning it's in excellent condition.
