The game Axis & Allies 1941 captures the state of war in 1941, when the Axis powers achieved significant successes in Europe and Asia. For advanced players, there are a lot of new units - 16 brand new ones like the P-40 Warhawk, Tiger Tank, AVRO Lancaster, FW-190, IS-2 tank, HMS Hood, He-111, or Akagi aircraft carrier. These units are usable in any other A&A game.
The game is designed to be easier to play than the core A&A games, but uses the system introduced in A&A 1942 2nd Edition and therefore works well to introduce the mechanics and play style of this popular series.
