Treasure Quest - 1950s

£20.00

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum....can you find the pirates treasure? This novel treasure hunt party game is simple but a lot of fun.

The host places all the pirate cards (except card 1) around the room where they can be easily found and seen by the guests. He reads out the first Pirate card and players now look for the Pirate card next in sequence for their chosen route on their map card. When they find it they will be either right or wrong. If wrong, they must go back to their start position on the map. And play progresses like this until one player has discovered the exact location on their map card where the treasure is hidden. He or she wins.

This is a rarer iteration of the game as usual copies came in an orange box, this is the first one we've ever seen with a green design. The game was made in Great Britain by Pepys in the 1950s.

Dimensions: 15cm x 20cm x 2cm

Being over 60 years old this item has survived remarkably well. The box is strong and intact and the cards are in excellent condition. Grade 1 under the Hoyles Vintage Grading System
