A beautiful folding Tunbridge-ware cribbage board with original hinges and stained bone pegs from the 1880s. Rosewood veneer on a mahogany carcass. The central panel is of typical tunbridge-ware foliate design. Surrounding the Tunbridgeware is inlaid boxwood panels with ebony, Kingwood and Tulipwood.

Small hole to inner fabric and ware expected by an item of this age, but otherwise in good condition. Grade 2 under the Hoyles Vintage Grading System (see here).
