Rook card game - 1940s
Rook card game was published by Parker Brothers (of Monopoly fame) in 1916. (Pit, its popular sister game, came out the same year, but Rook is the rarer of the two.) Revised over the years, this is the 1943 edition. It's a trump-based trick-taking game with variations from solitaire through to a game for six people... hence a thick accompanying instruction booklet, explaining the variants! Lots of variety and fun.
Complete and in fantastic condition for age. Cards clean and unmarked.
