Rolaire - 1965

An incredibly unique game, dating from 1965.

Rolaire is a played with colored balls, 5 red, 4 yellow, and 3 blue. You 'back' your fancy as to which coloured combination will end up at the bottom of the customised ramp. There are ten winning combinations with the odds of favourite at 5/2 to the outsider at 72/1 !

The box itself is made of plastic with a wooden surround. It tilts in the middle to create a gentle slope that the balls roll down. The surface of the board is made up of several channels and sloping hazards scientifically designed to impede and divert the balls on their way down to the winning slot at the bottom of the board. A roulette type of mat is in play to place your hunches and there are several modes of play.

Dimensions: 51cm height x 25.5 cm width x 5cm depth

In very good condition throughout. The outer lid has three disjointed corners, but despite this the contents are immaculate and complete, so we have graded this example as an Excellent, Grade 1 under the Hoyle's Vintage Grading System.
