Escalado (red box) - early 1960s

Escalado was a popular English table horse racing game from the late 1920's onwards. Up to six "jockeys" each have a metal horse, (plastic in the recent update), and one player acts as the bookie. Players then place wagers on the five coloured mechanical horses, which race across a vibrating course. The player with the most money after the agreed upon number of races is the winner.

This one is in extremely good condition, with no repairs to box. Slightly worn, all original including heavy duty metal horses. Replacement rubber bands included. Very good condition throughout. Rated Good, Grade 2, under the Hoyle's Vintage Grading System (see here).
