Menuette card game - 1947

£60.00

Menuette published by Pepys Games, 1947. The object of the game is to secure a complete menu, i.e. Roll, Soup, Fish, Entree, Vegetable, Sweet or Biscuits & Cheese and a Drink.

A pretty rare and very collectable card game! Put together hands of different menus with the more sophisticated dishes scoring highest - a meal with pheasant, peach melba and champagne scores higher than one with cod, mash and water! Bear in mind this is post-war restaurant food with rationing still in full flow...

English manufacture. 2 - 4 players. Dimensions: 9 x 6.5 x 2cm

Cards are in excellent condition and the original rules booklet is including, the box is damaged on the top but it still closes fine and keeps the cards safe. Grade 3 under the Hoyles Vintage Grading System
