A lovely retro pocket chess set with original sleeve, plastic case and a unique plastic sheet used to position the pieces on the board. All the magnetic pieces still work and this would make a great travel set. It was made in England by Peter Pan Playthings LTD in the late 1960s.
One white pawn is missing its magnet, we will try and replace this. The board and case are heavily scratched but it's still very much playable and has a nice charm to it. Grade 3 under the Hoyles Vintage Grading System.
